Academic Warnings

  • After the adoption of the academic results of the student at the end of each semester, the university will start from the next semester of the semester in which the student was enrolled, and the summer semester is not included in these chapters, warning the student whose cumulative average is less than 2 points in either of the first two semesters the first or the second.

When the student receives a warning, he must cancel his activity by raising his cumulative average to (2) points or above, within a maximum of two semesters from the date of the warning.

  • The student shall be separated from the specialization after the end of the period stipulated in paragraph (b) of this Article, except for the student who completed 99 hours of credit hours according to his study plan, provided that his cumulative average is not less than 1.75 points or the equivalent of a percentage, And if his cumulative average falls below that in any subsequent semester he/she will be separated from specialization without warning.

A student who has been dismissed from the study may be admitted to the special remedial study because of the low cumulative average of two points according to the following provisions:

 

-If the cumulative average is not less than (1.5) points or the equivalent of a percentage, four semesters will be given to raise this rate to the minimum acceptable to return a regular student and if failed, is not allowed to continue private study unless he/she has completed a total of (99) of the credit hours stipulated in the study plan and his its cumulative average is not less than (1.75) points or the equivalent of a percentage. In this case, two semesters are given as a maximum distance after which if he can not raise his average to (2) points.

 

  • If the student average is between (1-1.49) points or the equivalent of a percentage, he/she will be given one semester to raise this average to (1.5) points or the equivalent of a percentage. If this is achieved, three additional semesters will be given to raise the average to the acceptable minimum. If he fails, he will not be permitted to continue the special remedial study unless he has completed a total of (99) hours of the credit hours prescribed in his study plan and his cumulative average is not less than 1.75 points or the equivalent of a percentage. In this case, a maximum of two semesters will be given after which if he is unable to raise his average. In this case, a maximum of two semesters will be given after which he will be separated if he is unable to raise his average.
  •  A student who is accepted in a special study will lose his right to transfer to another specialization if he completes the four semesters granted to him in the special remedial study and he is unable to raise his cumulative average to the required minimum. The summer semester is not considered a semester for this purpose.
  • The student's academic load in the special study will be (15 credit hours) in the maximum limit for both the first and second semesters and (6) credit hours for the summer semester.
  • A student who earns less than one point or the equivalent of a percentage point in the cumulative average in any semester of the year after the first semester of admission to the university except for the summer semester will be separated from the specialization. If the student obtains less than one point or the equivalent of a percentage in the cumulative average in any subsequent semester he/she will be separated from the university.
  • A student who has been dismissed from specialization is not accepted in another one more than once during the period of his studies at the University.
  • A student who has been academically dismissed from any specialization may not be accepted again.
  • Subject to the provisions of Article (14) of this Guide, if the student in a semester has an incomplete assessment (I = Incomplete) and was subject to dismissal from the specialization or the university because of lower cumulative rate applies to the following:

-The student is not allowed to continue to study in the next semester unless he completion of his marks and raising the average to the minimum required.

  • If the student fails to raise his / her average to the required minimum, he will be separated after the completion of the marks of that semester.
  • The student will be separated from the university or specialization if the maximum period of study allowed for the study exceeds.
