The Faculty of Civil Engineering at Al-Jazeera Private University, in cooperation with the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, organized a scientific visit for a group of faculty students to the General Authority for Real Estate Development and Investment, on Sunday 7/24/2018, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ali Kamel and Eng. Hammam Homsi, Secretary of the University. The Director of the General Authority for Real Estate Development and Investment, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Homsi, gave some explanations about the work of the authority and the studies and engineering plans that it is currently working on. After that, the assistant director gave an introductory presentation on the work of the authority and the projects it has completed and which it is currently working on, and about the authority’s future role in the work On addressing slums and their expected role within the reconstruction project in Syria.
