Al-Jazeera Private University, in cooperation with the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, organized a general information competition entitled (Treasure Island), on Tuesday 28/11/2017 at the Cultural Center in Al-Adawy, in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Deans of faculties, heads of departments, a number of faculty members at the university, and a group of university students.
The competition was characterized by the great competitive atmosphere between all the participating teams, where more than 20 teams from different faculties of the university participated in this competition, the competition questions varied from different fields
(scientific, cultural, historical, artistic, literary and medical) and was characterized by its gradual difficulty, as the questions asked to the contestants were of medium difficulty in the first stages and rounds, and their difficulty increased in the final stage, which was reached by the (most prominent) team composed of students (Mohammed Ismat Al-Qwaider, Malik Qusai Gharib, Amjad Ibrahim Al-Ahmad Al-Husseini) from the College of Pharmacy and the (HYB) team consisting of students (Hazem Abu Ghazi, Yazan Hilal, Baha Hamid), where the (Al-Abraz) team achieved first place by defeating the (HYB) team in the final match, and in the conclusion The ceremony honored the winners of the first and second places by the President of the University, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the deans of the faculties and heads of departments, and the engineer Humam Homsi, the Secretary of the University and the head of the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students at the university, the colleague Nawaf Al-Najras, where the team that achieved the first place received an amount of 50,000 Syrian pounds. Q and the team that won the second place amounted to 25,000 SP
